Spike #52 R2-α Results — Brain occupies α⁴–α⁷ matter-substrate-bulk tier-range (F2 PARTIAL quantitatively CLOSED; α² stance refinement candidate; cycle-fraction homology new finding)

Date: 2026-05-17. R2-α concertmaster returned. Three substantive findings: 1. Brain spans α⁴–α⁷ (3-tier breadth, cluster center α⁵·²⁶) — multi-tier matter-substrate-bulk instance, NOT clean α⁷ 2. Recognition-not-residence QUANTITATIVELY CLOSED via two independent computations (10.76-tier reach > 4.26-tier bridge requirement with 6.5-tier margin) 3. Cosmic cycle-fraction (⅛) ↔ civilizational corpus-completion (~0.05–0.10) ≈ SAME OOM — candidate cycle-fraction-homology finding

F2 PARTIAL from R1 is now CLOSED — hidden-fiber content per [[feedback_partial_is_hidden_fiber_content]] resolved into quantitative composition mechanism.

§3 Cycle-fraction homology — new candidate finding

Per [[user_stance_cosmic_age_is_local_elapsed_since_last_local_minimal_asymptote]]: cosmic cycle-phase fraction at present = 0.125 ≈ ⅛ (we sit ⅛ past last local minimum in T_sub = 109.84 Gyr cycle).

Civilizational cognitive-substrate cycle-fraction: - Cognitive Hopf period at ω_thought = 100 rad/s: T_cognitive = 62.83 ms - Civilization span (~10⁴ years) ≈ 5.0 × 10¹² cognitive cycles - Civilizational corpus-completion fraction ~0.05–0.10 (Wikipedia 10⁹ bits / theoretical 10¹⁰–10¹¹ discoverable-corpus floor)

Cosmic 0.125 and civilizational 0.05–0.10 are SAME OOM. Both at quartile-1 phase.

This is a candidate cycle-fraction substrate-portability finding. If confirmed across additional cognitive substrates (R2c work), suggests cycle-fraction positioning is substrate-portable invariant — civilization sits at consonant cycle-phase with cosmos. Strengthens cosmic-age stance.

Could become its own stance: user_stance_cycle_fraction_homology_across_substrates or similar. R3-territory candidate.

§4 α² matter-substrate stance refinement candidate

Pre-R2-α: α² matter-substrate F-weave invariant claimed based on atomic Bohr + solar coronal-loop EDGE pairings (Spike #49 R1).

R2-α reveals matter-substrate is tier-stratified:

  • α² = matter-substrate EDGE (algebraically natural pairings: ω_Bohr × a₀ exactly; solar 5-min × coronal loop within −4.3%)
  • α⁴–α⁷ = matter-substrate BULK (brain neural regimes)

Both are matter-substrate. α^k index parameterizes substrate-mode location WITHIN matter, not separate substrates. Atomic+solar α² coincidence wasn't "all matter at α²" — it was "edge-pairings produce α²."

Stance refinement candidate: rename α²-matter-substrate-F-weave-invariantα²-matter-substrate-EDGE-F-weave-invariant; add §"matter-substrate-bulk α⁴–α⁷ tier-range" with brain as instance.
